TOUGHLOVE is both a self-help programme and a support group. It offers practical, down-to-earth solutions to unacceptable adolescent behavior.

Some facts about TOUGHLOVE:

· Is NOT about kicking kids out of the family home. Toughlove does not support this.

· Is called TOUGHLOVE because it's tough on its members. It's not about punishing our loved ones.

· Does not only deal with out-of-control teenagers.

· Deals with all kinds of unacceptable behavior, not only drug and alcohol abuse by children.

· Is not a 'quick-fix' solution for problems that have usually taken years to develop.
